Passivhaus designer

This optional online exam for Passive House-certified designers/consultants and the self-paced preparation module are specifically designed to thoroughly prepare you to pass the exam.

The exam lasts 3 hours and consists of multiple-choice questions, calculation exercises, entries in tables similar to those in the PHPP, and a design exercise. The exam is based on the learning objectives covered in the course.

Once you have registered and paid for the course, you will have access to the platform. As per the timetable provided, you will have access to the live lesson in each module. In each module, you will also be able to view additional material at any time.

You get full access to all the content linked to the Passivhaus Designer / Consultant exam. Whether or not you sit the exam, you receive a certificate of completion once you finish the course. You also receive an encrypted digital copy of all course notes or, if you prefer, we can post you a high-quality printed colour book of the notes (handling and postage charged separately; please ask).

The training platform stays open until your exam date. If you need more time for a justified reason, ask for an extension through our support email.

The course includes a Q&A area for anything that is unclear. Questions and comments are answered promptly and shared with the other students.

Once you have paid for the course with the PHPP option, we post the printed PHPP manual to you (postage and handling included within mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands). Delivery takes 5 to 7 working days. The PHPP software, with its licence code, is required for the official exam.

No, this course has no free or demo licences. You can, however, take part in the free-access content.
